Effective Date: August 28, 2026 | Last Updated: August 28, 2026 | Version 3.0
What changed in Version 3.0 (August 28, 2026): Sections 2 and 7 now describe the full current service, including organization and seat management, SAML single sign-on, SCIM user provisioning, the remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and Personal Access Tokens, materials and image analysis, external data ingestion, and live site inventory. Section 3 now names every AI model provider rather than only Anthropic. Section 8 has been rewritten to state our actual retention periods, our complete sub-processor list, and our security controls, and now matches the Data Processing Agreement in Account Settings and the Privacy Policy on our website. Two sub-processor categories are newly disclosed here although they were already in use — the public external data sources you enable under Data Ingestion, and the live site-inventory retrieval described in Section 8.2.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing, creating an account on, or using the services of AI Advisor Lab, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company trading as AI Advisor Lab™ (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including the AI Advisor Team Operations platform at teamops.aiadvisorlab.ai and the marketing site at aiadvisorlab.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately stop using our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AI Advisor Lab. By clicking “I agree” or by accessing or using the Service after these Terms have been posted, you accept these Terms. You must accept these Terms each time you sign in.
2. Description of Services
AI Advisor Lab provides AI-powered advisory services utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), including but not limited to:
- Custom AI Advisor Team Generation: Creation of specialized multi-persona AI advisory teams tailored to specific business use cases, and a marketplace of pre-built teams
- Multi-Expert Advisory Analysis: Simultaneous cross-domain expert analysis and strategic recommendations using AI-simulated advisor personas
- AI-Powered Business Consultation: AI-driven insights, market analysis, and decision-support for business strategy
- Document, Materials & Image Analysis: AI-powered review and analysis of files you upload — including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and text formats, and images. Files with no machine-readable text layer (for example scanned PDFs, photographs, diagrams and image-based slides) are transcribed using AI vision models. Large spreadsheets and long documents are analyzed using additional query and retrieval techniques so the analysis is not limited to an excerpt.
- Report Generation & Export: Generation and export of reports and strategic deliverables in PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, HTML and Markdown formats
- Deep Research: AI-augmented research using third-party research and web-search providers
- Data Ingestion (External Data Sources): Optional connections you configure to public and commercial external data APIs. Results are retrieved at analysis time and supplied to the advisory team as clearly-labelled unverified background context.
- Live Site Inventory: When you explicitly ask for analysis of a named website, the platform may retrieve publicly-available pages of that website so it can report on what it actually found rather than inferring it
- Organizations & Collaboration: Organization and seat management, member roles and invitations, project sharing, organization-level security policy, and organization branding
- Enterprise Identity Integration: SAML-based single sign-on and SCIM user provisioning for organizations that enable them
- Agent & API Integration: A remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint that lets authorized AI development tools and agents consult your advisory teams, authenticated by OAuth or by scoped Personal Access Tokens that you create and can revoke at any time
- Governance & Compliance Tooling: Inline output validation tags, answer-grounding and source-quality indicators, an AI Governance Trail export, self-service data export, and self-service account deletion
3. Large Language Model (LLM) Technology Disclosure
Important: How Our AI Technology Works
AI Advisor Lab utilizes third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) and third-party research services to generate all AI advisory outputs. Advisory analysis and report generation are performed using models provided by Anthropic (Claude). Research features additionally use Google (Gemini) and Perplexity. By using our services, you acknowledge and understand the following inherent characteristics and limitations of LLM technology:
- AI Hallucinations: LLMs can generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect, fabricated, or misleading information. This is a known and inherent limitation of the technology. All outputs must be independently verified.
- Training Data Limitations: AI models are trained on data with a knowledge cutoff date and may not reflect current events, recent legal or regulatory changes, current market conditions, or the latest scientific findings.
- No Understanding or Reasoning: LLMs generate text based on statistical patterns, not genuine understanding, reasoning, or professional judgment. AI personas are simulated roles, not real experts.
- Potential for Bias: AI outputs may reflect biases present in training data, including cultural, geographic, demographic, industry, or historical biases. Outputs should be evaluated critically.
- Non-Deterministic Outputs: The same prompt may produce different results on different occasions. Consistency of output is not guaranteed.
- Context Window Limitations: LLMs process information within fixed context windows. Complex analyses may be subject to information loss or incomplete consideration of all provided data.
- No Access to Real-Time Data: Unless explicitly using the Deep Research feature, AI outputs do not incorporate real-time data feeds, live market prices, current regulatory databases, or up-to-the-minute information.
- Third-Party Model Dependencies: Our services depend on third-party AI model providers. Changes to underlying models, API availability, or provider policies may affect service quality, consistency, and availability.
4. User Eligibility

- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Use the services for lawful business purposes only
- Have the authority to bind your organization if using the services on behalf of a company or entity
- Accept and understand the limitations of AI-generated content as described in these Terms

- No Guarantee of Accuracy: We make NO warranty, representation, or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or fabricated data.
- User Verification Required: You are solely and exclusively responsible for independently verifying, validating, fact-checking, and confirming all AI-generated content before relying on it, sharing it, or making any decision based on it.
- AI Personas Are Simulated: The “expert advisors” or “persona teams” are AI-simulated roles generated by language models. They are not real people, do not hold real credentials, and do not possess actual expertise, judgment, or professional qualifications.
- No Fiduciary Duty: AI Advisor Lab does not owe you a fiduciary duty. No fiduciary, advisory, or trust relationship is created by your use of our services.

- Competitive and Market Analysis: AI-generated competitive intelligence, market sizing, industry analysis, or company-specific information may be inaccurate, outdated, or entirely fabricated. Do not make business decisions based solely on AI-generated market intelligence.
- Decision Liability: You assume full and sole responsibility and liability for all decisions made, actions taken, or strategies implemented based on AI-generated content.
7. Service Scope and Limitations
7.1 What We Provide: AI-generated strategic analysis and recommendations; custom AI Advisor team configurations and a team marketplace; AI-powered business intelligence and market insights; document, materials and image review, analysis and report generation, including export to common office formats; deep research using third-party research and web-search providers; optional retrieval from external data sources you configure; retrieval of publicly-available pages of a website you explicitly ask us to analyze; organization, seat, role and sharing management; SAML single sign-on and SCIM provisioning for organizations that enable them; a remote MCP endpoint and scoped Personal Access Tokens for agent and tool integration; and self-service governance, data-export and deletion tooling.
7.2 What We Do NOT Provide: Professional advice in any regulated field; real-time financial data or trading signals; legal opinions or regulatory compliance certification; medical diagnoses or treatment plans; guaranteed or warranted accuracy of any output; human expert review or validation of AI outputs (unless separately contracted); an independently certified or attested security or compliance posture of our own (we hold no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent certification — our cloud infrastructure provider holds such certifications for the infrastructure layer only); and any guarantee that an external data source, research result, or website you ask us to consult is accurate, complete, current, or licensed for your intended use.
7.3 Service Availability: Services are provided “as-is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous service availability. Service may be subject to scheduled maintenance, API provider outages, or technical limitations.
8. Data Privacy, Processing & Security
8.1 Governing Privacy Documents: We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy at aiadvisorlab.ai/privacy-policy and, where you have accepted one, the Data Processing Agreement available in Account Settings → Data & Privacy. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Agreement, and the Data & Privacy detail in Account Settings are maintained as a single consistent set. If you believe you have found a conflict between them, please tell us at info@aiadvisorlab.ai; pending correction, the Data Processing Agreement governs for organizations that have accepted one, and the Privacy Policy governs otherwise.
8.2 Sub-Processors: To provide the Service we share data with the following categories of sub-processor, and no others. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising.
- Cloud infrastructure provider (United States) — compute, storage, database, encryption key management, identity, email delivery, and monitoring for the entire platform.
- Anthropic (United States) — Claude model APIs. Receives your prompts, the relevant portions of your uploaded materials and conversation, and advisory team context, for the purpose of generating advisory output.
- Google (United States) — Gemini APIs, used for the Deep Research feature and for image generation. Receives research topics and the content necessary to perform the requested research or generation.
- Perplexity (United States) — web research API. Receives research queries only; it does not receive your conversation history or your uploaded materials.
- Stripe (United States) — payment processing for paid plans. Receives billing identity and subscription data. Card details are collected by Stripe directly and are never received or stored by us.
- Public and commercial external data sources (location varies) — the specific data APIs you choose to enable under Data Ingestion. Each receives only the search query or topic derived from your request. They do not receive your conversation history, your uploaded materials, or your identity.
- Websites you ask us to analyze (location varies) — when you explicitly request analysis of a named website, our systems make ordinary public web requests to that site to retrieve its publicly-available pages. Those requests identify our platform and disclose a contact address; they contain no content of yours.
Your inputs are processed by these providers under their own terms and privacy policies, and we recommend you review them. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before adding or replacing a sub-processor. The external data sources and website-retrieval categories above were in use before this version of the Terms; they are disclosed here as of August 28, 2026.
8.3 AI Model Training: Your content is not used to train any AI model of ours, and it is sent to AI providers through commercial API endpoints that are governed by contractual terms prohibiting the provider from training its models on that data. If you supply your own provider API keys (available on Professional and higher plans), your requests run under your own provider account and are additionally governed by the terms of that account, which you control.
8.4 Data Location: Customer data is stored and processed in the United States (cloud region US East / Northern Virginia). AI provider, research provider and payment processing calls are transmitted to provider endpoints in the United States. Requests to external data sources or to a website you have asked us to analyze go to wherever that third party is hosted, which may be outside the United States.
8.5 Data Retention: We retain data as follows. Where a period is described as configurable, an organization administrator sets it for that organization.
- Account data — for the life of the account, plus 30 days after a deletion request.
- Conversations, projects, uploaded materials and generated reports — 365 days by default; configurable by an organization administrator between 30 days and 7 years.
- Audit and governance records — 7 years, to meet regulatory and evidentiary obligations. These records are held in tamper-evident, write-once storage and cannot be altered or deleted before their retention period expires, including by us.
- Usage metrics — aggregated and anonymized after 90 days.
- Operational and security logs — 90 days.
- Personal Access Tokens for agent integration — expire automatically no later than 90 days after creation, and can be revoked by you at any time.
- Organization invitations — expire 14 days after being sent.
You can delete data yourself at any time. Deleting a project erases that project’s conversations, uploaded materials and derived search indexes together. Deleting your account deactivates it immediately and begins a 30-day recovery window, after which personal data is permanently purged; only anonymized aggregate metrics may be retained. Audit records subject to the 7-year regulatory retention above are the one category we cannot delete on request.
8.6 Sensitive and Confidential Information: The platform automatically screens content for personal information and redacts it before content is sent to an AI provider, and it classifies data sensitivity. These controls reduce risk; they do not eliminate it, and they are not a substitute for your own judgement. Do not submit classified or export-controlled information, payment card numbers, government identity numbers, or material subject to attorney-client privilege. Submit trade secrets, third-party personal information, or protected health information only where you have the necessary rights and consents and you accept the residual risk of third-party AI processing. If you are a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, do not use the Service for protected health information unless we have entered into a written Business Associate Agreement with you; we do not offer one by default.
8.7 Security Measures: We maintain a documented security program including: encryption at rest using AES-256 across all stores, with your project content and our identity, audit, session-token, usage and tenant-metadata stores encrypted under customer-managed keys that rotate automatically each year; encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 as a minimum, with TLS 1.3 supported, enforced at the network edge; multi-factor authentication enforced on all production accounts, with an authenticator application as the required factor and SMS available as an additional enrolled factor, plus an enforced password-complexity policy; session handling in which tokens are held in cookies that page scripts cannot read; logical multi-tenant separation, in which every record is bound to a tenant identity derived from your verified sign-in and never from client-supplied input, and cross-tenant access is refused at the storage, API and query layers; edge protection from a managed web application firewall running in active blocking mode, covering rate limiting, reputation blocking and managed rule sets for common attack classes; content safeguards that redact personal information before content reaches an AI provider and classify submitted data by sensitivity; secrets management in a dedicated managed service rather than in application configuration; monitoring through centralized logging with alerting, network access logging, activity logging with integrity validation, continuous configuration recording and managed threat detection; a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail of data access and administrative actions written to write-once storage, where a failed audit write causes the change it describes to be refused rather than proceeding unrecorded; data-protection controls including object versioning, point-in-time recovery and deletion protection; and secure development practices, with infrastructure defined as version-controlled code with drift detection, and automated dependency, secret, static-analysis and container scanning in our build pipeline. We deliberately do not publish specific thresholds or rule tuning, because doing so would help an attacker calibrate beneath them; enterprise customers may obtain that detail under the audit rights in the Data Processing Agreement.
Please read this qualification. This separation is enforced by the application within shared cloud infrastructure. It is not a dedicated cloud account, a dedicated database, or a separate encryption key for each customer — the customer-managed keys described above are managed by us for the platform as a whole, not issued per account. Dedicated-tenancy arrangements for regulated workloads are available by separate agreement — contact info@aiadvisorlab.ai. We hold no SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS or equivalent certification of our own; our cloud provider holds such certifications for the infrastructure layer only, and infrastructure certification is not certification of this Service. We also do not operate cross-region disaster recovery, so a prolonged failure of our cloud region would cause an outage, and recovery relies on point-in-time recovery and object versioning rather than a separate backup vault. No system is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security.
8.8 Incident Response: We monitor for security anomalies and maintain an incident response process. If we confirm a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you without undue delay and in any event within 72 hours of confirming it, consistent with GDPR Article 33, describing the nature of the breach, the categories of data affected, the likely consequences, and the measures taken. Report a suspected security issue to info@aiadvisorlab.ai.
8.9 Your Privacy Rights: Under GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and non-discrimination for exercising those rights. Several of these are self-service in Account Settings → Data & Privacy: export your data in machine-readable JSON, correct your profile, manage cookie preferences, and delete your account. For any other request, or if the self-service tools do not cover your situation, email info@aiadvisorlab.ai. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, extendable by a further 60 days with notice where a request is complex.
8.10 Automated Decision-Making: The Service does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects concerning you within the meaning of GDPR Article 22. All output is advisory and requires your review.

You may also request either by emailing info@aiadvisorlab.ai. Deleting your account deactivates it immediately and starts a 30-day recovery window, after which your personal data is permanently purged. The audit and governance records described in Section 8.5 are retained for their 7-year regulatory period and cannot be purged early; only anonymized aggregate metrics may otherwise be retained. We recommend exporting your data before deleting, using the Data Export tool in the same tab.
